Does anyone know anything about National Insurance Contributions with regard to Incapacity Benefit?

I have retired fro work on grounds of ill health (age 50). I receive a pension and also get my National Insurance Contributions (NIC) paid in the form of IB by the DWP.

I have to go for medical assesments every 12 months to qualify for these NIC to be paid. I no longer get any other benefit paid to me and haven't since I started taking my pension. I find it all very stressful to have to attend these assessments every year and would prefer to go. The DWP haven't taken into account that my company retired me on the grounds of ill health and it feels like they are pushing me to something I am surely not capable of i.e. work! I know others who have been given exemption who have been retired similarly, I have no idea why they can't do the same for me.

If I decided to refuse all benefit so that they would leave me alone, does anyone know how much I would have to contribute from my pension to obtain the state pension?

How much exactly are they contributing on my behalf anyway
